Marketing Intern (Start Date: Sep 2026)
We are looking for a proactive and curious Marketing Intern to join our team in Nunspeet. In this role, you will support the marketing activities for our industrial brands in the energy industry, including Aarding and Burgess-Manning. You will work closely with our Marketing and Sales team to help create content, support events, maintain our websites, and assist in day-to-day marketing operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn how marketing works in a B2B technical environment, contribute to real company initiatives, and gain practical, portfolio-ready experience.
What You Will Do
You will support the marketing team with tasks such as:
Content & Social Media
- Draft LinkedIn posts and captions based on provided materials
- Select and edit photos or short video clips for social media (Canva/CapCut/PowerPoint, etc)
- Prepare and schedule content for brand pages and employee posts
- Monitor performance metrics and compile weekly engagement reports
Website & SEO Support
- Upload and format blog posts, case studies, and product updates
- Update image alt tags, meta descriptions, and internal links for SEO
- Review website pages to ensure consistency, clarity, and clean formatting
Events & Sales Support
- Assist with preparation for industry exhibitions and conferences
- Help organize marketing materials (brochures, banners, digital screens)
- Support follow-up activities by gathering contact details and structuring notes
Research & Market Insights
- Track competitor activity on social channels and websites
- Collect industry news and trends to inspire content
- Research potential events, associations, partners, or speaking opportunities
What You Bring
You are likely pursuing a degree at least HBO level in:
- Marketing
- Communication & Media
- Business Administration
- International Business
- Or similar
You are:
- Organized and reliable
- Interested in B2B or industrial/technical environments
- Comfortable writing and speaking in English
- Able to learn new digital tools quickly
- Curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions
Nice to have:
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar editing tools
- Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or sustainable energy
